The rules of the service
Effective August 14, 2026
These terms explain what Platera is, what you can expect from us, and what we expect from you. Using this site or joining the waitlist means you accept them.
What Platera is, and is not
Platera is a marketplace that brings independent meal-prep businesses into one place so you can compare menus, plans, delivery areas, and prices.
Platera does not cook, prepare, or handle food. Each business is independent and responsible for its own food, permits, pricing, and deliveries. Our role is to connect you with them and make the process easier.
Where the service stands today
Platera is still being built. This site lets you join a waitlist and lets businesses apply to join. No orders or payments run through the platform yet.
When the service opens, we will publish additional terms covering orders, payments, cancellations, and refunds.
Who can use it
You must be over eighteen and give accurate information. If you register a business, you confirm you are authorised to act for it.
Food, allergies, and health
Information about ingredients, allergens, portions, and storage comes from each business. Platera does not independently verify it and cannot guarantee it is accurate.
If you have an allergy, a medical condition, or any dietary restriction, confirm it directly with the business before ordering. Nothing we publish is nutritional or medical advice.
Acceptable use
Do not use the site for anything unlawful, to submit false information, to scrape it automatically, or to interfere with how it runs.
Brand and content
The Platera name, logo, words, and design belong to us. Each business's name and menu belong to them. Do not use our brand without written permission.
Limitation of liability
The site is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, Platera is not responsible for the quality, safety, timeliness, or legality of what an independent business offers, nor for indirect losses arising from use of the site.
Nothing here limits the rights Mexican consumer protection law gives you.
Changes and governing law
We may update these terms; the version in force is always on this page with its date.
These terms are governed by the laws of Mexico, with jurisdiction in Guadalajara, Jalisco. For any question, write to hola@platera.mx.
