How many days does it last in the fridge?
Three to five, sealed, is what nearly all of them work to. Dishes with fish or pre-dressed vegetables hold less well and are best kept for the start of the week.
Does it freeze without trouble?
Most of it does. Stews, rice dishes and meat in sauce come out of the freezer fine; salads and raw vegetables do not. On delivery, ask which portions are worth storing right away.
Is it more expensive than doing it yourself?

Is it useful if I cross the border daily?
It is one of the clearest cases. With food already portioned in the fridge, taking lunch does not depend on having had time the night before. Several businesses use packaging built for exactly that.
Do they deliver to Playas and Rosarito?
It depends on the business, which is why the zone is published up front. Across several kitchens much of the city is covered, and filtering by neighborhood shows only the ones that reach yours.
